The casual dining chain Applebee’s has launched an ‘Under 550 calories’ menu, which introduces a selection of steak, chicken and shrimp options. Any plate that one chooses is less than 550 calories.
“When eating at this restaurant, you need not worry about calories. We understand that people still want to dine out but are concerned about calories intake and therefore Applebee’s has introduced this unique combination to satisfy the appetite and not worry about high calories,” said Kamran Khan, director of marketing at Tarfeeh.
Applebee's started its operations in Saudi Arabia in 2003. Today, it is one of the largest casual dining chains in the country with 15 restaurants in all major cities.
Applebee’s claims it is also the world’s largest casual dining chain with more than 2,000 restaurants globally. “Applebee’s brand perfectly defines the true meaning of a family restaurant with relaxed atmosphere.
