Etisalat has announced attractive new data roaming packages for its mobile customers.

The new packages offer as much as five times the usage for half the price through Etisalat’s preferred partner networks.

The new packages come in three varieties; daily 25MB for AED 25, daily 100MB for AED 35, and weekly 1GB of data for AED 200.

Customers can use these packages for any type of data consumption and with any handset or tablet, including all Blackberry devices.

Each of the packages starts from the first instance of Internet access outside the UAE. Customers can view and purchase roaming packages by dialing *177# (for free) from the UAE or abroad.

Etisalat has also increased the number of preferred partners through which the new offers are valid to 143 networks in 70 countries, covering most major travel destinations.

Khaled El-Khouly, chief marketing officer, Etisalat, said: “We hope our new roaming data packs will help our customers enjoy their trips abroad with the confidence that they will not face large unexpected data bills upon their return to the UAE.”

To help customers keep control of their data roaming usage and charges, Etisalat also offers a range of customizable services, including out-of-bundle caps and SMS notifications.

Customers can get information about the countries and the preferred partners covered in the new packages by dialing *177# or via the Etisalat website.

They can also do so through any Etisalat outlet or Customer Care Center.
