Azizia Panda United Co. has won the excellence award on food works for 2014 in the category of the best food markets in the Arab World after having achieved the required global quality standards set by the prize jury, affiliated to a global consultancy firm.

The winning event came within the functions of a conference titled “The future of food security: The partnership between the governments and private sector,” which was recently held in Dubai, jointly organized by the Saudi Cultural Mission in the UAE and the global consultancy house.

The event was attended by a number of prominent diplomatic and business figures, representatives of several research institutions in food science, and livestock and agricultural production firms in more than 20 countries.

Director General of Marketing at Azizia Panda United Co. Imad Al-Qurashi received the prize. In this context, he extended appreciation to the Saudi Cultural Mission in the UAE and the global consultancy house.

“The prize will further incentivize Panda teams for making more efforts to keep the company remain ahead in the retail sector and serve the Kingdom positively at the national regional and international levels,” he said.

He added that Panda has consistently kept global quality standards in all its services and commodities. Additionally, the loyalty of Panda customers is the most important motivation for the company to grow and expand, he said.
