To celebrate the launch of Chopard Haute Joaillerie collection — the “Garden of Kalahari” — Chopard along with its long lasting partner, Attar United Company, invited their VIP clients to attend a launching event held on Jan. 21 at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
Th collection was imagined by Chopard’s co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele and born from the exceptional Queen of Kalahari diamond.
The invitees watched a 50-minute fictional documentary retracing the incredible story of the 342-carat diamond, from the Botswana mine where it was born to becoming the most precious jewelry set ever produced by Chopard. The screening was followed by a sumptuous dinner.
Mohammad Saddik Attar, CEO of Attar United Company, the sole boutique franchisee holder for the brand in Saudi Arabia, said Chopard has always been true to its legendary creativity and boldness. He added that the journey of the Queen of Kalahari is impressive and demonstrates the excellence of Chopard.
