Construction Products Holding Company (CPC) proudly hosted the Strategic Infrastructure and Real Estate Roundtable in Dubai, organized by the Infrastructure & Urban Development Industries and MENA team at the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The meeting took place at the Ritz Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre and was attended by delegates from different countries representing infrastructure and real estate industries.
This roundtable meeting, which is part of a series of dialogues for the global strategic infrastructure initiative, focused on key issues critical to the infrastructure and real estate industries in the Middle East today, with an objective to generate insights on the issues by drawing on the diverse perspectives and expertise of leading stakeholders from business, government and civil societies.
“We are very proud to host and participate in this roundtable. We believe there is always a big role for the government and private sector to collaborate together for developing our region’s infrastructure in a manner that not only meets international standards, but also to surpass it,” commented Faysal Alaquil, official spokesperson and director of business development and chief of CSR for CPC.
“The recommendations and insights that arise from these roundtable discussion sessions will definitely pave the way for the WEF’s upcoming agendas and will help achieve the economic and developmental objectives that are set by the countries in this region,” he added.
The main sessions of the roundtable focused on the regional outlook, the challenges of delivering critical infrastructures specific to the context of the Middle East today and the sustainable urban development.
The insights, recommendations and scenarios arising from this roundtable will help to shape the agenda for future meetings, initiatives and reports at the WEF. There was an active engagement from the partner companies and constituents from the region that helped support and advance the regional and industry agendas.
