Mobily was awarded the MENA HR Certificate of Excellence during the ceremony of awarding certificates of excellence that took place on the sidelines of the 6th Annual MENA HR Excellence Awards ceremony held in Dubai. Talal Alzeid, acting director corporate culture, received the certificate on behalf of Mobily.

These certificates of excellence are usually granted to economic enterprises and organizations in recognition of its achievements and contributions to the advancement of HR functions.

Mobily was awarded this prize in recognition to its special role in applying the best approved practices in recruitment, and improving the work environment, as well as supporting the initiatives that promote the performance level of the employee, whether through training or incentives.

The ceremony aims to gather HR professionals from leading organizations in the region, and to identify the distinguished individuals and organizations in recruitment methods, and to exchange of knowledge with regard to the most urgent issues facing the HR sector.

Hamad Al-Hashemy, Mobily’s chief human resources officer, stressed that awarding this certificate to Mobily is a culmination of the big efforts exerted to upgrade the efficiency of its staff and to move forward in the process of transformation from a telecom company into an integrated communication and information technology services provider.

Al-Hashemy noted that what confirms the company's keenness to adopt the best professional practices to create an innovative and effective work environment is the adoption of this trend, which is one of Mobily's most prominent strategies, is to be the best work environment in the Kingdom.

This year, Mobily started the application of a number of innovative programs for the development of the work environment. These programs have been studied, developed and compared to similar international business environments, supported by specialized companies in this field.
