Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed presented the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) award to the National Commercial Bank (NCB) for employing graduates from the Institute for 2012, at the opening ceremony of Graduate and Career Day held at IPA premises in Jeddah.

Bleihid N. Al-Bleihid, NCB’s senior EVP and head of group human resources sector, received the award from Prince Mishaal and expressed his pride that NCB, the national company, employs IPA graduates the most. Prince Mishaal also presented a plaque and a certificate of appreciation to NCB for sponsoring the ceremony.

“NCB's participation in and sponsoring such exhibitions and Graduate and Career Day events confirm the bank’s adherence to accomplish its national and social commitments that come in line with the directions for the national corporations and institutions to support the national partners who are able to contribute in various development fields,” Al Bleihid said.

He added: “NCB’s winning the Institute’s plaque of this year reflects its excellent efforts to attract, train and employ the national human resources. In addition, Prince Mishaal’s sponsorship of this ceremony demonstrates our government’s great support and endeavors to provide job opportunities for youth.’

Al-Belihid stated that Saudization constitutes a key element of NCB’s strategy. This will positively impact the bank’s performance, revenues and contribution in supporting the national economy.
