OSN, the region’s major pay-TV network, recently expanded its footprint in Saudi Arabia, one of its fastest-growing markets, with a new office in Alkhobar that serves as the regional center for the Eastern Region.

Underlining its long-term commitment to investing and building partnerships in Saudi Arabia, OSN now has five offices and over 490 employees, nearly one-fourth of them in Alkhobar.

OSN has 63 retail touch points across the Kingdom, including showrooms and kiosks, and over 39 authorized dealers and more than 150 sub-dealers, covering five regions — Central, Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern.

OSN recently hired nearly 50 new employees in the Kingdom, including Saudi nationals.

OSN has also signed with the Saudi Human Resources Development Fund and Management Training Center institute, where Saudi professionals are offered skill development training before they start their careers at OSN.

Nick Di Marzo, chief operating officer of OSN, said: “OSN has gained a significant share of the pay-TV market in Saudi Arabia. Our top-notch programming covers all the distinct niches that Saudi audiences seek, including sports, news, family entertainment, first telecast of blockbuster movies and a wide range of series in Arabic and English.”

Bandar Al-Sunbuly, OSN’s GM for KSA, said: “The expansion of our operations marks our continued investment in the Kingdom and our commitment to deliver the highest standards of service. We will continue to expand our presence in the Kingdom to serve as the number one choice for pay-TV in Saudi Arabia as well as be an employer of choice for Saudi nationals.”

OSN has also been focused on local content creation in Saudi Arabia to support creative talent. Last year, OSN produced Saudi Doctors, which provided insights on health and wellbeing in a realistic milieu, by providing simple and entertaining solutions to combat the rise of health issues in the region.
