The Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) has inked seven land deals worth SR221 million for a number of domestic and foreign investment projects in Jubail and Ras Al-Khair industrial cities.

Abdulaziz Attragi, the RCJ general manager of strategic planning, signed the deals on Thursday, which will provide more than 553 jobs directly.

The first deal, signed with Quality and Accuracy Company for Industrial Coatings, is related to an industrial project in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City for the production of refractory bricks, powder, and structural refractory bricks.

The second was signed with Upper Buildings Ltd. Company to establish an industrial project in Jubail for the production of iron barrels, while the third one, signed with Arab Endress Hauser LLC, is to provide industrial services and training.

The fourth aims to produce detergents and solvents, and it was signed with Saudi Environmental Factory for Detergents. Another contract was signed with Rittal Company to establish plastic pallets project.

The sixth deal is related to the production of plastic pipes, while the last one was signed for the production of electrical connections and pipes.

Commenting on the new deals, Attragi said: "These contracts aim to expand industrial manufacturing, according to the directives of the RCJ chairman, to support the local industry and increase the gross national product."

He added that these projects include various products, including plastics products, electrical and mining industries, environmental detergents and construction materials, as well as investments in the field of training and qualification that will make the Saudi staff more qualified to work in the industrial field.
