Sona Jewelers will open a new showroom in Jeddah on Friday.

It will be inaugurated by Sadiq Ali Thangal, an Indian Islamic scholar, who is flying in especially for the event.

The new facility is claimed to be the largest gold and diamond jewelry outlet located on Shara Gabal, near Queens Building in downtown Balad.

Sona Jewelers was established with 100 percent foreign investment by K.V. Mohan, Sona Mohan, Shyam Mohan and Vivek Mohan in 1984. The company has its 22 carat jewelry outlets in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Hofuf and Jubail.

The company develops its modern and traditional designs at its own manufacturing unit at Riyadh.
