Saudi Telecom Co. has signed an agreement with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), for the provision of high-speed Internet by FTTH for the housing complex in Alkhobar.

STC will implement the infrastructure with integrated communication services solutions to connect the housing complex with FTTH.

Fahd Alammaj, general manager for home sales, signed the agreement on behalf of STC with Saleh Al-Zahrani, operations and maintenance director of SWCC.

Alammaj said: “STC is starting a new platform to extend the connectivity of FTTH which will allow provision of multiple packages with high speed to customers.”

Alzahrani said: “The agreement with STC will develop the technical strength of the housing complex and connect it through an integrated system to provide communications that would fulfill the needs of residents.”

STC has already signed comprehensive agreements with many developers to implement the infrastructure for telecommunications services in many of the schemes in the Kingdom.
