Within the framework of excellence and the series of achievements highlighted by various awards received by Batterjee Medical College for Science & Technology, the college has won Okaz Award for Professional Excellence. The award was presented at a ceremony in Jeddah under the sponsorship of the Minister of Culture and Information Abdul Aziz Khoja and the presence of a number of consuls and ambassadors.

Sultan Sobhi Batterjee, member of the board of directors and the group's vice chairman for development, received the award. He said: "Our company was established to contribute to achieving the vision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah in building a knowledge society."

Dr. Hassan Shaibah, BMC dean, said: "It is an absolute pride and pleasure to win this award." He emphasized BMC's role and keenness to support Saudization through continuous development and efforts to create an integrated learning environment that supports our core values in order to send out responsible people who will contribute to their country. He added: "BMC will participate in the Career Conference which will be held in Washington to support the same goal."
