Ferrari F12 berlinetta debuts in Saudi Arabia

FAST AUTO TECHNIC, the sole dealer of the super sport car Ferrari in Saudi Arabia, witnessed the debuts of the newly released Ferrari car model F12berlinetta, the all-new generation of the untamed horse, which is equipped with V12 engine.
Ferrari reports that the F12berlinetta is capable of lapping the Fiorano test circuit in 1 minute, 23 seconds. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds to a top speed of over 340 km/h. This is in addition to its unique acumen and responsiveness and providing unprecedented driving experience on the road or the circuit track even when the low speeds, in the typically equipped vehicles with engines installed in background mean.
The new Ferrari F12berlinetta wins Britain's Top Gear Magazine Supercar of the Year award, and thus this model joins the other Ferrari cars that have achieved similar awards.
Khalid Al-Abed, GM, Fast Auto Technic, sole dealer of Ferrari in Saudi Arabia, after unveiling of the new car at the company's main showroom in Riyadh, said: "Today, we present the long awaited super sport car, and the world's strongest and best car in sport luxury cars segment."
The wheelbase has been shortened and the engine, dashboard and seats have been lowered in the chassis, while the new layout of the rear suspension and gearbox enabled Ferrari’s engineers to make the rear volume of the car smaller. The overall result is a very compact car with a lower center of gravity that is further back in the chassis, and a level of aerodynamic efficiency that sets new standards.
The F12berlinetta’s 6262cc 65° V12 engine delivers unprecedented performance and revs for a naturally-aspirated 12-cylinder. F12 engine provides 12 cylinder V-6262 cc and positioned at an angle of 65 degrees, with direct injection technology with 200 bar pressure force, the performance is unprecedented in the history of the 12 cylinder engines powered by compressed air.
The F12berlinetta makes use of aerodynamic techniques. Another feature is Active Brake Cooling ducts, which open to direct cooling air only when the brakes are hot, keeping them closed at other times to reduce aerodynamic drag.
Thanks to its bold and sleek lines, the car enjoys exceptional comfort and spaciousness for passengers within its compact dimensions. The rear of the F12berlinetta is characterised by a modern, functional reinterpretation of the Kamm tail which seamlessly integrates the two vertical fences of the rear diffuser.
Ferrari ended the year 2013 by posting unprecedented results with revenues of 2.251 billion euros (+ 17.3%), and the number of cars sold 7195 (+ 9.5%). Ferrari revenues on sales was 14.1%, which is again one of the highest in the automotive sector.
