These days I make it a point to watch comedy or satirical shows aired on various Saudi channels. The talent of young Saudis never fails to impress me. Their ideas and performances clearly show how observant these youngsters are. These shows and other similar programs are proof enough that the Arabs are a talented people and it is just a matter of time when they will once again emerge as one of the leading people in the world. I am sure history is all set to repeat itself very soon. In my understanding, colonialism is to be blamed for the current plight of the Arabs. Colonial policies continued in this part of the world in one form or the other. Fortunately, the recent decisions taken by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman heralds the dawn of a new era. The Middle East has been blessed with all sorts of natural resources. The leading country of the Muslim world has sent a strong message to the outside world that Muslims are no longer in the mood to suffer at the hands of others.
