The Jeddah Marriott Hotel team recently celebrated an opening ceremony for Pinoy Nights, joined by Uriel Norman R. Garibay, consul general of the Philippine Consulate General of Jeddah.
John S. Louie, hotel general manager, said: “Visitors are to be able to enjoy a dinner buffet of flavors featuring traditional Filipino dishes such as Kare Kare, Inihaw Na Isda, Adobo, Lumpia Shanghai, Crispy Pata and finish the feast by treating themselves to the Halo Halo station every Thursday from 7pm to 11pm at Al-Bassateen restaurant”
Rabih Abou Yazbek, director of restaurants, added: “It’s our honor to welcome the consul general at our restaurant. Guests will enjoy the delicious Filipino food prepared by our Chef Rey Agasway and his team and the warm traditional Filipino atmosphere.” Al-Bassateen restaurant is located in the Jeddah Marriott Hotel and offers an international buffet, available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves another themes which includes Seafood nights every Monday, Tex Mex nights every Wednesday and Friday Brunch.
