The Ministry of Health closed nine optical shops in Riyadh city following inspection visits recently. The inspectors of the Health Affairs department in the ministry discovered that some shops were committing violations such as working without licenses and employing unauthorized technicians at the shops.
Director General of the Health Affairs Dr. Adnan Al-Abdul Al- Kareem said action was taken to protect the health of the people. He said more inspections would be conducted at establishments to ensure that they are following the regulations of the ministry.
