Spread Communications brings French talent management agency to MENA
  • New talent management agency is based in the UAE but will operate across MENA
  • Services also include licensing, image consulting and PR

DUBAI: Spread Communications has partnered with a European-based talent management agency to extend its services and activities to the MENA region.

The new collaborative initiative, Spread Talent, will be an artist management firm aiming to provide a personalized solution to clients.

The initiative will help to expand the company’s relationships with its existing portfolio of global talent into the local market while also procuring artists from within the region.

Spread Talent CEO Sam ABK’s experience in the talent and entertainment industry spans 12 years, during which time he has led several campaigns. He has worked with global celebrities including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Chiara Ferragni, Paris Hilton and Demi Lovato.

The management process starts with identifying an artist, understanding their long-term vision and then formulating a strategy. The agency will also help in creating personalized product opportunities that fit the talent’s overall positioning while offering additional services such as licensing, image consulting and PR.

Spread Talent provides Middle East representation for international celebrities (including models, athletes, actors and singers). It holds a diverse portfolio of professionals including French footballer, Karim Benzema, serial entrepreneur, Sara Al-Madani, social media personality, Lea Elui, and French model, Baptiste Giabiconi.

Shamim Kassibawi, founder and managing director of Spread Communications, said: “The communications industry has rapidly evolved in the past couple of years and is much more than press releases and pitching.

“There are several elements involved, ranging from social media, influencer marketing, media buying, SEO, etc. With the ever-changing communications landscape and digital world advancing, as communication specialists we need to ensure that we develop and define our craft, and most importantly stay relevant to the market.”

Sam ABK, CEO, Spread Talent, said: “We’re based in the UAE, but operate across MENA; one of the fastest growing markets, where talent is still untapped. We hope to identify these artists, support them on their journey and grow them both locally and globally.”
