Saudi, Australian foreign ministers discuss Gaza ceasefire during call

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call on Wednesday from his Australian counterpart Penny Wong, the Kingdom’s foreign ministry said. 
The two sides discussed developments in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need for an immediate ceasefire and the delivery of emergency relief assistance to the besieged Palestinian enclave.
The ministers expressed concern over the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and stressed that Israel needs to comply with and respect international humanitarian law.
