ADNOC CEO urges global action, UN resolution to protect Strait of Hormuz energy flow

DUBAI: The CEO of ​Abu Dhabi state oil company ADNOC, Sultan Al Jaber, said ‌on ‌Wednesday ​that Iran’s ‌actions ⁠in ​the Strait ⁠of Hormuz represent global economic extortion and a ⁠threat the ‌world ‌cannot ​tolerate.
Al ‌Jaber called ‌for global action to protect the ‌free flow of energy and urged ⁠that ⁠UN Security Council Resolution 2817 be upheld to ensure free navigation in the ​strait.
