RIYADH: The Ministry of Labor and Social Development signed an agreement with the Careem IT company on Tuesday to provide cars for the physically challenged in the Kingdom. The company is to do away with the 25 percent funding it gets from the transport service.
The agreement provides disabled people with a range of options through an electronic service where they can call for transport. About 25 cars have been launched for this service with all necessary equipment in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province. The service, operating 24/7, will be extended to other cities gradually.
