JUBAIL: Over 129,000 people have visited the heritage and craft festival at Al-Fanateer waterfront since last Thursday, to see various cultural, science, technology and environmental attractions.

Organized by the Royal Commission for Jubail, the event also features exhibitions highlighting the history of several countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, China, Indonesia, Italy and Honduras.

The organizing committee has provided a variety of services for visitors, including free buses throughout the day from Darren Mosque to the festival, and wheelchairs at all entrances for the elderly.

Several people were impressed with the Shining Walkway, which consists of distinctive lighting. The festival opens its doors to families from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
