DAMMAM: The Dammam Criminal Court recently convicted two Bangladeshis of selling marijuana.

They were sentenced to 10 years and five years in jail respectively and 1,300 lashes between them plus a fine of SR100,000 each.

The two were arrested following a raid on their apartment where the police found large quantities of marijuana. The two confessed that they had brought the marijuana from their country when they came through King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

Their intention was to sell it. They will be deported after serving their prison term.
