With final exams getting nearer in the second school session, private teachers are found no longer using “walled advertisements.”
They are instead opening up electronic websites with ads being placed in forums and other specialist platforms to reach a greater audience.
The managers of these websites seek to make these ads interesting and specific in their goals especially concerning cost and duration. The cost of ads on these websites depends on the ads location on the electronic page.
The most distinguished ads are more expensive because they are placed on the top of the interface with different and attractive colors to lure students and their parents.
As to low cost and sometimes free ads, their location is at the bottom of electronic pages.
These websites state that their virtual distinction lies in the fact it joins student and teacher in a fully equipped room together with smart blackboards that provide direct linkage with the teacher and/or the school, and the student has the ability to choose any teacher or school in any country of the world. Female students do not study with male teachers except through a coordinator on the website. The virtual hall takes about 20 male and female students.
Website managers say the virtual classroom is subject to direct control by the management and any ethical and moral misconduct by male and female students will not be allowed.
If anyone oversteps the limits they will be taken off the site and will not be allowed to return, they say.
These websites also ban the use of cameras during the study period.
Ibrahim Al-Salem, the head of Private Sector Education in the Saudi Council of Chambers, said private teachers should watch for security risks because these websites claim to have virtual classes with technical support for pupils.
