NAJRAN: School of Dentistry students at Najran University expressed disappointment with group failure of 13 students, accusing the faculty members of being unfair with their examinations.

The university spokesman, Dr. Zuhair Al-Omari, said the eighth level students failed to get the required grades to pass NDS 361. He also charged the students were caught cheating this semester in another subject which has been adequately dealt with by the school.

Dr. Al-Omari said anyone who fails in a particular subject will not pass, as the college wants to equip students with the scientific and practical skills that protect the future safety of patients and themselves from potential mistakes. Around 13 students out of 18 from the eighth level were dissatisfied with their failure in general surgery. As a result, they filed a complaint to the school's dean to investigate accused faculty members.

The students articulated their disappointment with the new process, as research grades have been cancelled and replaced with test grades. They called for the return of research grades and the review of their examination answers with the model answers, or they will be forced to transfer to other universities.
