DAMMAM: The fifth day of the fourth East Coast Festival, currently being held at the King Abdullah Environmental Park on the Dammam waterfront, had a wide array of attractions related to the marine history of the area including fishing and pearl diving.

Many visitors said that the festival highlighted the simple manner in which people lived before the discovery of oil. They also welcomed the participation of several Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the event.
