The General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced that most flights to and from airports in the south of the country resumed Friday, after a one-day suspension because of the Kingdom’s military operations in Yemen.

Domestic and international flights have resumed gradually in all airports including those in Jazan, Wadi Al-Dawasser, Bisha, Sharura, and Najran early Friday, it said in a statement.

The GACA is also working with airlines to ensure the resumption takes place smoothly after the suspension on Thursday.

It said that airlines were communicating with passengers about new flight schedules, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
