King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH&RC) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Society have jointly agreed to create a database and provide the best care to the patients.

A memo of cooperation (MoC) in this regard was signed between the two parties represented by Rashid Al-Hamid, CEO of KFSH&RC, and Dr. Suad Yamani, President of ADHD Society and neurology consultant.

The agreement focused on supporting children who suffer from ADHD cases and how to integrate them into society successfully.

Speaking to reporters, Dr. Suad Yamani said that there is a close cooperation and support from the KFSH&RC where it accepted a group of ADHD-infected children and provided all human, logistic and material support to them for three days. The agreement heralds a new era of similar agreements between the Society and other organizations including hospitals and universities, she said.

According to the agreement, both parties will jointly cooperate in organizing conferences and workshops targeting doctors, health care experts, parents of ADHD patients, intellectuals, children and adults with hyperactivity disorder, Yamani said.

The two parties will allow ADHD children to get specialized health care services and provide doctors in areas not covered by such services, she added.
