RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman held talks at his palace in Riyadh on Tuesday with the president of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani.

During the meeting, aspects of bilateral cooperation in addition to a number of issues of mutual concern were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif deputy premier and minister of interior; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense; Riyadh region Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar; Minister of National Guard Prince Miteb bin Abdullah; Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf; Culture and Information Minister Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; and Chief of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Homaidan.

On the Kurdish side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Fuad Hussein, chief of the enclave's presidency court; Shifaa Barzani, director of the president's office; and Saroar Bidawe, economic advisor to the president.
