King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for the Gifted and Creativity “Mawhiba” is committed to provide constant training to the country’s talented students.

As part of its vision to provide world-class training facility, Mawhiba organized recently communication skills confidence for students in partnership with their parents.

The training aims to develop the students’ personal, scientific and leadership skills in terms of adding value to the public administration programs at the organization.

In this context, Mawhiba has implemented various skill-relevant training schemes under the theme “Interpersonal Skills” with the participation of 480 students (boys and girls) in order to boost their communication skills and confidence.

According to Mawhiba, 40 students ­— boys and girls — have completed their training program on “leadership development” in partnership with schools in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. They are the students who have passed and excelled in personal skills program.

In a related development, Mawhiba also organized four training workshops on “family environment and its impact on talented education” that targeted parents of those students in Jeddah, and was attended by more than 120 participants.

It was held to raise awareness how to develop and monitor those potentials within gifted children and how to deal with them.

Dr. Nora Ibrahim Suleiman was the key lecturer who talked on aspects of talent among the children in the early stages, their characteristics and categories, and their needs and challenges they face.
