RIYADH: No date has been set so far for the visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to Moscow, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday, quoting a source at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Russia’s RIA news agency reported on Thursday that King Salman’s visit had been set in mid-March, citing Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov.

Ushakov said an agenda for the visit had not yet been decided.

Saudi Arabia and Russia had earlier talked about expanding economic ties, but Moscow’s aggressive support of Syria’s dictator Bashar Assad is a ticklish issue.
