DAMMAM: Security patrols in Alkhobar ended an agitation by workers demanding salaries and financial dues on Sunday.

The workers belonging to different nationalities had assembled inside the premises of the company that employed them seeking salaries and financial dues, Eastern Province police spokesman Col. Ziad Al-Ruqaiti said.

The agitating workers reportedly damaged a company vehicle. One of the company workers was slightly injured when the car was being damaged, he said, adding that the company notified the incident to the labor office. Some of them were detained.
