Over 2,000 Syrian refugees in Jordan were provided medical services at clinics run by the Saudi National Campaign for Support of Syrian brothers last week. The medical services were provided by the pharmacy, radiology and laboratory departments. These clinics are part of Saudi efforts to enhance health services for Syrian refugees at Al-Zatari Camp.

The medical director of the clinics at the camp, Mohammed Ismail Al-Zoabi, said that 2,294 refugees visited the clinics to benefit from services. Children and pregnant women were among the patients.

There are also four dental clinics run in partnership with the Jordan Medical Association and supervised by specialists, most of whom are Syrians due to their ability to deal with their families and fellow citizens with the greater ease.

The clinics have conducted laboratory tests, X-rays and issued medical prescriptions since the beginning of 2014. There are 12 specialized health centers at the Zaatari camp, including cardiology, dermatology and surgery units.
