RIYADH: A Filipino nurse who works at a clinic in Riyadh has been missing for a week, her colleagues has said.
According to a co-worker at the clinic, the 43-year-old nurse from from Lamitan town in Basilan province, southern Philippines, was last seen at 3 p.m. on February 6. “She told us she was going to Carrefour in Granada Mall and we haven’t seen her since,” said Dada Glamdemure Macrohon, her colleague.
Dada posted an announcement on Facebook after she was unable to reach the missing woman’s mobile phone. She has not reported for duty for a week, Dada said. She said the authorities in Riyadh had been informed but so far, there has been no solution.
“She might have been arrested by Haia but we don’t know really if there was a reason for that,” said Dada.
According to Dada, the missing mother of one had no enemies or possible involvement in any criminal activity.
