The Saudi Law Association at King Saud University (KSU) and the department of legal affairs at the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) signed a cooperation agreement here at SCTA headquarters to introduce tourism and antiquities rules and regulations to students in the Kingdom.

The agreement, which aims to conduct a number of educational workshops to introduce rules and regulations of tourism, antiquities and urban heritage in conferences and seminars held at King Saudi University, was recently signed by Fahd bin Ibrahim Al-Dowaian on behalf of the Saudi Law Association. Faisal bin Mansur Al Fadel, director general of legal department, signed on behalf of SCTA.

Speaking on the occasion, Al-Fadel said the agreement will help in raising awareness among members of society, investors, tourists and citizens on tourism, antiquities and urban heritage regulations in addition to the rights and duties of those who deal with these regulations.

Echoing this sentiment, Al-Dowaian maintained that the law association seeks to enhance its partnership and work with different authorities in a way that serves Saudi laws and raise people’s awareness about them through this agreement.

Al-Fadel and Al-Dowaian also held a meeting on the sidelines of the ceremony in which they discussed the agreement’s scope of work and future.
