JEDDAH: The Technical College of Khamis Mushayt has launched a blood donation campaign under the slogan “Our Blood Is for Our Soldiers”. The drive will continue till Wednesday.

The campaign, by Technical College of Khamis Mushayt, with the cooperation of the military hospital in the south, was launched within the framework of the armed forces’ efforts to serve the people and country.

The campaign’s main objective is to contribute to the need of the hospital’s blood bank and to create awareness on the importance of blood donation.

The organizers have appealed to members of the training staff, trainees and college faculties to donate blood as their social reasonability in solidarity with the nation.

Saleh Talha, the dean of the college, donated blood first for the launch of the campaign. "The campaign comes in support of the soldiers and their efforts in protecting the Kingdom and its citizens, and is the college’s social responsibility and active role in serving the community and the country," he said.

He stressed the importance of humanitarian cooperation between the hospital and the faculty of the college as a social responsibility and social responsibility of every citizen.

He thanked the medical team of the hospital for carrying out this humanitarian mission.

The campaign is witnessing an overwhelming response from students, faculties and staff of the college, and also attracted a large number of citizens.
