An American national, who is accused of killing his Sri Lankan wife and hiding her body in a petrol cylinder, will face trial next month in a Saudi court.

The Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution obtained evidence from seven sources that incriminates the American resident. The body of evidence includes DNA reports, forensic report, technical report, photographs from the crime scene and eyewitness accounts.

After charging the American resident with murder, the public prosecutor noticed he displayed signs of unease and confusion, such as involuntary urination, vomiting and denying that the body belonged to his wife. The bureau said the accused admitted complicitly, cried and said: “The DNA test let me down.”
