JEDDAH: A wanted terrorist was killed by security forces in Awamiyah, Qatif, on Tuesday.

An Interior Ministry spokesman identified the man as Bahraini national Ali Mahmoud Ali Abdullah.

“He was involved in a number of acts of terror,” the spokesman was quoted as saying by SPA.

He said security forces raided a farm where he was hiding.

“He began shooting at the securitymen prompting them to return fire,” he said. “He died in the shooting.”
