Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif sponsored the initiative of the Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) to support families in the manufacturing industry, as well as artisans in Jubail Industrial City.

Royal Commission Chairman Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayyan was also present to show his support to these families.

The initiative aims to spread the culture of work and production in society, and help craftsmen and families in this field, establish their businesses.

The program includes training these people in different sectors, providing them with permanent sites to market their products, in addition to the establishment of a committee for developing and supporting this segment under the supervision of the RCJ.

Prince Saud attended the Jubail Heritage and Crafts Festival, where he sponsored the inauguration of an institute for women at the charitable society to teach women how to memorize the Holy Qur’an in Jubail.

During his visit to the festival, Prince Saud spoke with families in the manufacturing business, praising the competent authorities’ efforts for holding such events.

Afterwards, the official headed to Azmeel village to host a mass wedding for 50 couples held by the Weaam Family Care Society.

Weaam CEO Mohammed Al-Abdul Qadir said that the society offers five programs for youth and three for girls to contribute to build a balanced family life.
