RIYADH: LG Electronics has announced its entry into the OLED TV market in Saudi Arabia by unveiling the company’s latest OLED4K TV lineup.

The new state-of-the-art TV displays picture quality that is 85 percent slimmer, 20 percent narrower and 26 percent lighter than competing LCD TVs, the company claimed.

The new OLED TV will add a new dimension in the TV industry, LG stated, adding that it has risen to the top of the global OLED industry.

The company also intends to use its edge in technology to build on its leading position by offering its customers the absolute best in innovation, technology and design.

The new LG OLED TV delivers “perfect black and colors with an infinite contrast ratio as well as wider viewing angles” thanks to its self-lighting pixels.

“Not only is LG the global leader in advanced OLED technology, but the company has also succeeded in creating an absolutely stunning and stylish curved design for its televisions. which will compliment any home,” the company added.

“The Saudi market is a diverse and growing market, and LG sees huge potential here for OLED technology,” said Kevin Cha, president of LG Electronics MEA region.

Electronic review websites, including Hi-Fi, has selected the 55-inch curved LG TV as the best of its kind that takes curved displays to the next level.

On the other hand, the Stuff website has chosen LG 55EG960V TV as the best high-tech, describing it as the most enjoyable TV, for interesting viewing experience.

C/NET defines LG’s EG9600 as the best-performing TV that has ever tested, while the LG EG9600 OLED TV’s picture is better than any of LCD or plasma TV that consumers have ever experienced.

The three websites have given LG the awards of excellence.
