JEDDAH: Saudi Aramco's chairman Khalid Al-Falih said he is confident that local industries, including the Saudi petrochemical sector, will adjust to the rise in domestic energy prices and remain competitive.

Saudi Arabia has raised domestic energy prices, including fuel, water and electricity prices, SPA reported.

Gas feedstock used by Saudi petrochemical producers are heavily subsidized by the government and are among the lowest in the world.
