To help festive shoppers narrow down what to choose at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 — the home of British Airways (BA) — full of stores, the British carrier recently conducted a survey among Jordanian residents to find out their ideal gift from the airport.

Of those asked, 45 percent of women revealed their perfect present would be a perfume and 34 percent of men preferred a watch as a perfect present.

This was followed by female participants choosing a classic gift of jewelry in second place (receiving 20 percent of the votes) and cosmetics, skin care and makeup (receiving 15 percent of the votes) in third place. In second and third place after a watch, one in four male participants would prefer an electronic gift (receiving 25 percent of the votes) and cologne (receiving 19 percent of the votes).

T5 has a wealth of stores to browse before a flight, including Harrods, Tiffany & Co., Fortnum & Mason, Mulberry, Rolex, Dixons and World Duty Free, making it the ideal spot to pick up a special present for self or a loved one on you’re the way home.

“If you are lucky enough to spend the festive season in the UK, it really is the most wonderful time of the year to visit London with countless activities for all of the family to enjoy, from a wizardly winter experience on the set of Harry Potter to ice skating fun beside the River Thames,” BA stated.
