Canon Middle East, a global leader in imaging solutions, has announced a new partnership with Forefront Technologies that will cover the UAE, Qatar and Oman.

The agreement is part of Canon’s focus on growing its offering in document imaging management systems (DIMS) in the region while also expanding business channels and becoming closer to customers.

Canon’s DIMS products gained a 3 percent market share in 2013 across the Middle East, and north, east and west Africa. Canon ME is focused on gaining a 4 percent market share in 2014 by diversifying the product offerings in the region.

The recent partnership with Forefront Technologies as a distributor will focus on resellers of DIMS products, project development and indirect business with corporate, government and Independent Software Vendors.

Forefront Technologies is a major IT distribution operation that concentrates on document imaging hardware, storage systems and solutions in the region. Established in 1995, the company has grown with over 500 partners and a network of system integrators, value-added resellers and distribution partners covering more than 20 countries throughout the MEA.
