Danube, one of the leading building materials company in the Gulf, opened its first retail store for building material and home interiors in the capital, further increasing its presence in the Kingdom's fast-developing interiors market.

Danube Chairman Rizwan Sajan joined the inaugural ceremony of the multi-million one-stop store with specialized collection that can put customers in touch with the finished products.

Danube Director Adel Sajan said: "It took loads of hard work, planning and strategic development to build this Danube store, a one-stop-hypermarket with best quality items of international standards.”

He said: "Quality is important. We have done strong market research before introducing the retail store and are committed to our assurances."

Sajan added: “We know the value of quality, which along with range of products at variable prices as per the cost of the material, is the USP of our huge success from a two persons’ small team to a whopping 1,800 + strong employee empire.”

“Multiplying the growth, we are in Jebel Ali, Dubai — Deira, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Muscat, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India and China, apart from a key procurement office in Canada,” he stated.

"With an extensive customer base in the GCC countries, Danube has grown from a small trading firm in 1993 to one of the largest building materials and home interiors company in the region," he said.

"For our products, we provide warranty ranging from one to seven years," he added.

“Moreover, we also provide free design service and offer on demand features for interiors to our customers, the way they prefer their interiors,” he said.

When asked about the expansion plan in the Kingdom, he said: "After Riyadh, we will go to Dammam and Jeddah and then to other big cities.”
