The board of directors of Fursan Travel has appointed Berthold Trenkel as the new CEO of the travel company.

Trenkel joins Fursan Travel from Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), described as the world’s leading travel management company, where he served as EVP traveler services and member of the executive team.

Saud Al-Rajhi, vice chairman of the board of Fursan Travel, said: “Berthold Trenkel has the ideal combination of executive management experience and leadership to strengthen the role of Fursan Travel in the Middle East and we are looking forward to working with him.
