A giant chocolate cake, in the shape of ‘100’, was unveiled at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah recently to celebrate Hilton Worldwide surpassing 100 hotels either trading or under development in the Middle East.

Straight from the hotel’s pastry kitchen, Bertrand Valegeas, executive chef, and his brigade, were joined by the Hilton Worldwide regional team, general managers and team members during a special unveiling of the cake at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria’s poolside.

Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Middle East and Africa for Hilton Worldwide, said: “This is a significant milestone for Hilton Worldwide in the Middle East and clearly underlines our commitment to be the leading hospitality company in the region.”

He made these remarks during the celebrations.
