Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI), the training institute for Saudi youth located in Diriyah, Riyadh, recently received two short-term technical specialists, Koyama and Kera of Nippon Engineering College (NEEC), from Japan. The two specialists implemented 5-day intensive training programs for instructors in charge of technical training under the curriculum 'Japan Course.'

Koyama trained the instructors on the subject of Monodzukuri. This subject of Japanese name was developed by NEEC, aiming at giving students hands-on learning opportunities, keeping their motivations and encouraging their creativity.

Kera gave lectures to instructors on electric works including 'Kiken Yochi' training, which means hazard prediction training in Japanese. In that training, students learn how to predict potential hazards in their working environment by themselves. The lecture also included electric work trainings using actual questions of Japanese national qualification examination for electric construction.
