The four-day 2015 Machinex Arabia exhibition opened at Jeddah Center for Forums and Events was inaugurated on Monday.
Jeddah Chamber of Commercial and Industry (JCCI)’s Secretary General Adnan Mandoura presided over the exhibition inauguration in the presence of officials of Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE) and representatives of participating companies.
The exhibition is held in parallel with Propac Arabia, Saudi Arabia’s 20th international event for production & processing, printing & packaging, plastic and chemicals.
In its 5th year, Machinex Arabia is marking its presence with over 150 companies equipped with latest machinery and tools catering to different industries by national and international exhibitors from Egypt, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Sweden, Turkey, the UAE, UK and the United States.
Mandoura congratulated the organizers for bringing together all small and large organizations for the show and wished all the participants will find the show fruitful.
The exhibition is catering to the local companies’ different profiles, including cleaning, recycling and treatment, compressors and generators, construction, electrification and climate control, factory plant and machine tools, material handling and vehicles, measuring and weighing devices, metal working, die-casting and welding, mining, oil and gas, operations, maintenance and training, plastics and rubber/injection, printing and packaging, processing, filling and bottling, pumps and turbines.
“The show has been further expanded to include Metal & Steel, Saudi Arabia’s premier show for metal working, metal manufacturing and steel fabrication industry,” ACE’s VP Zahoor Siddique said. A large number of manufacturers, industrialists, traders and entrepreneurs are expected to visit the show. The show timings are daily 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
