Makkah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah presented Zain KSA an honorary award for its participation as a gold sponsor for the sixth Makkah Excellence.

The award, announced at a press conference held to name the winners, was received by Saud Al-Bawardi, chief operations officer at Zain KSA.

Al-Bawardi stressed that the company’s participation for the second year in a row in sponsoring the Makkah Excellence Award was due to its belief in the award’s cultural and social values and the support it has given during its six years to major Saudi projects.

Al-Bawardi added that contributing in such national cultural events is one of the priorities of the company. It is striving to harness all capabilities to support these events that promote competitive values in the cultural and educational aspects of society.

The Makkah Award for Excellence, held for its sixth round this year, was initiated in 2008 to honor outstanding efforts and creative thinking in the intellectual, scientific, and operational fields in the Makkah Region by spreading the concepts of competition and motivation to enhance performance and quality.
