Kajal Aggarwal, an Indian movie actress, inaugurated Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ 135th showroom at Lulu Hypermarket, Sohar, Oman, on Sept. 18.

The group’s inaugural offers include 1 gm gold coin free with every purchase of diamond jewelry worth OR500, and a gold coin free with every purchase of gold jewelry worth OR300.

The opening ceremony was held in the presence of Khamis Al-Mandhri, acting chief of West Asian Department, Oman; Shamlal Ahamed M.P., the group’s MD for international operations; Group Executive Director Abdul Salam K.P. and other directors, personalities from media and other well-wishers.

A huge gathering of over 20,000 residents of Sohar thronged the venue to witness the inauguration and see their celebrity.

Located in Lulu Hypermarket, Sohar, this new showroom will take the total number of Malabar Gold & Diamonds showrooms in Oman to 8.

The company is also planning to launch two more stores in the coming months at Seeb and Ruwi in the sultanate.

Aside from this showroom, the jewelry group already operates in Sohar at Al-Hamber Street and this showroom was opened owing to the consistent increase in the number of customers, especially family customers.
