Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar hosted a special iftar gathering for friends in the media industry at its Blue restaurant’s Layali-like tent recently.
Attended by the members of top publications, the iftar was not only to celebrate a solid business relationship but also to genuinely express appreciation and thanks for their continuous support of the 5-star hotel.
“People have witnessed abundant news about us this year, and we couldn’t be grateful to all our friends from the media who unceasingly support us. Ramadan is a perfect time to show our gratitude, especially to those who matter to us. To our media friends, thank you once again and we share our success to all of you,” said Sanjeev Tandon, director of sales and marketing, Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar.
The Blue restaurant and the adjoining Poolside are decorated in traditional style to resemble a Layali-like tent. Comfortable seating arrangement available is ideal for dining with friends, family and colleagues. An elaborate buffet is setup each evening consisting of all traditional Ramadan delicacies starting with juices, soups, starters and an extensive variety of main courses, including lamb ouzi.
The buffet also features live cooking stations serving grilled meats, shawarma and a choice of freshly baked bread. The favorite of many, the dessert selection includes traditional delicacies such as kunafa, bakhllawa and a wide variety of cakes, tarts, fresh fruits, etc.
